Suggestions for topics include, but are not limited to:
Sociological approach to researching well-being
Consequences of current crisis on modern society
Welfare policies and their role in building thriving societies
Theoretical perspectives on the concept of societal well-being
Methodological issues with researching well-being
Components of the well-being of the society
Gender roles in the post-crisis society: winners and losers
Inequalities in well-being – inequalities in the post-crisis society
What do quantitative and qualitative methods contribute to the research of well-being and society?
There are 9 slots available for postgraduate presentations and 25 places for non-presenting attendees. Presentations should last 15 minutes and 5 minutes will be dedicated to comments and questions from the group.
Submission Instructions: Abstracts of no more than 300 words for the conference should be submitted to Katarzyna Kucaba ([email protected]) not later than 15 March 2015.
